Interfaces
Interface to be implemented by test builder classes for PHPUnit, Jest, and Vitest.
Defines the contract for an authentication guard. A guard owns the notion of "who is authenticated right now" for a single request, resolving the current user from the underlying session and delegating user retrieval and credential checks to a UserProvider. Implementations are responsible for reading and writing authentication state (session, and optionally remember-me persistence) so that callers interact with a Principal rather than with storage details directly.
Defines the contract for hashing and verifying values, typically user passwords. Implementations wrap a specific hashing algorithm (e.g.
Contract the auth guard/provider relies on to authenticate a model without knowing its underlying schema. A Principal exposes its identifier, its stored password, and its remember-me token through a fixed set of accessors, along with the column names backing each, so the authentication system can operate against any model that maps these concepts to storage however it chooses.
Defines the contract for retrieving and validating principals from an underlying data store. A UserProvider isolates all knowledge of how users are stored and looked up, so a guard can authenticate against any backing store (a model, an external service, etc.) through a single interface. Retrieval and credential validation are kept separate: a provider can locate a principal by its credentials without verifying them, and verify a principal's credentials without re-fetching it.
Defines the contract for event listeners or jobs that can be queued.
Marker interface indicating that an event listener should be queued.
Contract for delivering notifications over a specific transport (database, mail, SMS, etc).
Interface QueueDriverInterface
Interface that all queueable jobs must implement.
